Upcycled craft afternoon
Collect jars, boxes, fabric scraps and bottle tops, and turn them into planters, organisers or decorations together.
How to do it
- Ask everyone to bring clean household items that would otherwise be thrown away.
- Set out glue, scissors, paint and string on a covered table.
- Pick a simple project or let each person invent their own.
- Finish with a show-and-tell and let everyone take their piece home.
