This notice explains what personal data the WUDD website processes in its current foundation release (V0). It will be updated before public accounts open.

WUDD is operated by its Owners. The legal entity, postal address and privacy contact will be published on this page before public accounts open.
Visiting this website
You can read this website without an account. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies and we do not embed third-party trackers.
Like most websites, our web server records technical access logs — such as IP address, requested page, time and browser type — to keep the service secure and working. These logs are kept for a limited period for security and operational purposes.
Cookies
We only set cookies that the website needs to work: a language-preference cookie (wudd_locale, up to one year) that remembers the language version you visited; and, for Owners only, a sign-in cookie that lasts ten minutes and a session cookie that lasts up to twelve hours.
Owner sign-in
At this stage only WUDD's protected Owners can sign in. Sign-in uses Google. When an Owner signs in, Google shares the account's unique identifier, email address, whether that address is verified, and the account name.
We store this information to recognise the Owner, together with session records (time, a shortened IP address and the browser description) and a security log of sign-ins and sign-outs. We never receive the Google password and we do not keep Google access tokens.
Sign-in attempts by other people
If someone who is not an Owner tries to sign in, no account is created. To detect misuse we record that a denied attempt happened, with a one-way coded value derived from the Google identifier and the email domain — not the full email address.
Marketing
WUDD does not send marketing emails and does not keep a mailing list at this stage. If marketing messages are introduced later, they will need your separate, explicit opt-in, and you will be able to withdraw at any time without losing access to the service.
Storage and sharing
Data is stored on a server operated for WUDD. Google acts as the sign-in provider under its own privacy policy. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. The contact address for these requests will be published on this page together with the legal details above.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice as WUDD grows. The date at the top shows the current version.
