Rules and scoring
  • Each round has one starting letter (or character). Write one answer per category that starts with it.
  • A valid answer nobody else wrote scores 10, a valid answer someone else also wrote scores 5, an empty or invalid answer 0.
  • Duplicates are found among the final valid answers. Spelling variants such as ي and ی or capital letters count as the same answer; meaning is not compared.
  • WUDD does not decide whether a name or a city really exists: the host (online) or the table (in person) decides disputed answers.
  • Online: your sheet stays private until the round closes, even from the host. «Stop!» works only when every box is filled. After Stop or the end of time no answer is accepted.
  • In person: everybody writes on paper. This device draws the letter, keeps the time and keeps the score.
